Vehicle Description
We're sure you'll agree; what a gorgeous truck! And with less than 100,000 showing, and a new top-end overhaul, it runs as good as it looks, too. It is a perfect blend of the traditional and the modern - the classic late-style front brushguard (also in remarkably good condition), mixed with the eye-grabbing 17" Black Rhino "York" alloys in gloss black mounted with the phenomenal Falken Wildpeak AT4's in 32" diameter. Featured on the brush guard are bright LED driving lights with clever white Daytime Running elements included. In fact, all the exterior lighting on the truck, from headlights to license lights, ae updated to LEDs! The elegant Safari snorkel mates well with the correct OEM running boards. Out back an Atlantic British ladder mates with Terrafirma taillight guards for a subtle off-road touch. But the specs are bone-deep, backed up by a 2" OME (Old Man Emu) HD nitro-shock lift kit and Terrafirma extended stainless steel brake hoses. Inside a terrific condition, all-original Alpaca Beige interior shines and is updated with a 9" BOSS touchscreen with CarPlay and a back-up camera.
To keep this beautiful truck running trouble-free another 100k we have rebuilt the top-end with new Elring composite head gaskets held firmly in place with ARP chromoly head bolts (at 75lbs/ft!). Perhaps even more importantly, we have upgraded the cooling system with all new hoses and the revolutionary Inline Thermostat conversion. It runs a sweet and unwavering 183 degrees on the highway, so the death curse of 4.6l overheating has been lifted!
